چکیده
V-doped TiO2 materials (0.01, 0.05, 0.10, and 1.00 nominal atomic %) were synthesized by the sol-gel method characterized X-ray diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, UV–visible diffuse reflectance N2 adsorption–desorption isotherms, photoelectron H2-temperature programmed reduction. Two vanadium precursors (vanadyl acetylacetonate ammonium metavanadate) three calcination temperatures (400, 500, 600 °C, with without air circulation) assayed. The efficiency of as photocatalysts was studied degradation phenol UV visible lamps. photocatalyst prepared from acetylacetonate, a content 0.01 %, at 400 °C circulation (0.01VTi-400), showed best performance, reaching 100% 30% (50 μM) irradiation lamps (3 h) (5 h), respectively. To evaluate this catalyst in other structurally related compounds, two substituted phenols selected: 4-chlorophenol 4-nitrophenol. 0.01VTi-400 to be applicable phenolic compounds when substituent an activating group or weakly deactivating (for electrophilic reactions). Additionally, selectivity for presence Aldrich humic acid tested: reached 68% h, lamps). performance indicated that it is promising material further applications.

متن کاملSuper-hydrophilic SiO2-doped TiO2 photocatalysts for self-cleaning applications
The self-cleaning of glasses can be realized by coating the photoinduced super-hydrophilic nanoporous thin films based on TiO2 photocatalysts via sol–gel route. In this study, a new method to enhance the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 thin films direct coated on the glass was developed by doping SiO2 in the films. The effects of post-annealing and the SiO2 content of TiO2 film on the photocata...
متن کاملOptimized Nanostructured TiO2 Photocatalysts
Titania is the most widely studied photocatalyst. In its mixed-phase configuration ( anatase–rutile form) – as manifested in the commercially available P25 Degussa material – titania was previously found to exhibit the best photocatalytic properties reported for the pure system. A great deal of published research by various workers in the field has not fully explained the underlying mechanism f...

In this study, novel photocatalyst monolith materials were successfully fabricated by a non-solvent induced phase separation (NIPS) technique. By adding a certain amount of ethyl acetate (as non-solvent) into a cellulose/LiCl/N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc) solution, and successively adding titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles (NPs), cellulose/TiO2 composite monoliths with hierarchically porous s...
متن کاملUnderstanding electronic and optical properties of anatase TiO2 photocatalysts co-doped with nitrogen and transition metals.
This paper describes an investigation into the general trend in electronic properties of anatase TiO2 photocatalysts co-doped with transition metals and nitrogen employing first-principles density functional theory. Fourteen different transition metals (M), including Sc, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, and Cd, have been considered. The characteristic band structures of the co-dopi...
